How much will I be charged for crossing Salik Gate?

What type of vehicle insurance will I receive by default?
According to RTA, all UAE rental cars come with comprehensive insurance, also known as basic insurance. You’re automatically covered for non-fault accidents, but a police report is necessary. Your rental already includes basic coverage. Most rental companies offer CDW (collision damage waiver) for self-fault damage at an extra cost, with a police report still required for coverage. When will I get my security deposit back?
The car rental security deposit, ranging from AED 1000 to AED 10,000, is collected at the beginning of your rental. It will be released within 30 days after you return the car. The deposit can be refunded through bank transfer, cash deposit into your bank account, or by check. What is the mileage limit? What happens if I exceed it?
Rental cars typically have a standard mileage limit corresponding to your rental duration. However, certain companies may provide options for unlimited mileage. Some cars may be accessible to new license holders but require a higher security deposit, offer limited insurance coverage, and have a higher excess fee. On the other hand, certain cars are exclusively available to those with older licenses. All cars can be rented with a valid driving license that is older than six months.
